The Best Places In Tennessee To Rent A Vacation Cabin

Tennessee is home to some breathtaking scenery such as the Great Smoky Mountains. This area of the Southern United States attracts millions of people each year. If you are planning to visit this beautiful area, there are some places you should put on your list.

The best places in Tennessee to rent a vacation cabin offer something for everyone for the whole family.

Pigeon Forge

Pigeon Forge is one of the most well-known areas of Tennessee. This town is a resort town nestled in the midst of the Great Smoky Mountains. If you are a lover of music, then you can visit the Elvis Presley Museum. You can also take the kids to Dollywood, a popular theme park that is open year-round named after the country singer Dolly Parton.

There is plenty to do here from live shows, great restaurants, and good shopping.

Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg offers gorgeous views of the Great Smoky Mountains and is situated at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You can opt to stay in town, or head to the outskirts and rent a vacation cabin in the woods. Gatlinburg offers pretty wedding chapels and is a favorite place among couples to marry.

You also can play miniature golf, ski in the winter, head to the Guinness World Record Museum or Ripley's, and even go on the Tennessee River to whitewater raft.

Sevierville

Sevierville is located along the shores of the Tennesee River and offers relaxing and gorgeous views of woodlands. Dolly Parton was born and raised in Locust Ridge, not far from Sevierville and is, in fact, the same county. In fact, it's not a long drive from here to her childhood home, which is still standing. You can check out the statue in her honor near the County Courthouse, or head to one of the outlet shopping malls.

You can also take in horseback riding, zip-lining, river tubing or enjoy a hike. If you enjoy thrills, check out the Rainforest Adventures or Wilderness theme parks.

Chattanooga

Chattanooga is situated along the banks of the Tennessee River and is a city that is easily accessible from Nashville, Knoxville, or Atlanta. You can visit places such as Historical Lookout Mountain, historical bridges, and gorgeous waterfalls.

You can check out the Tennessee Aquarium which houses tropical fish and turtles among other sea life. If you are railfan, then you can hop aboard the Tennessee Valley Railroad train for a ride through the countryside.
